@therealmichaeldamian has enjoyed a prolific on-camera career and is most widely known for his eighteen year run as Danny Romalotti on the #1-rated daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

On the stage front, Damian starred as “Joseph” in the popular Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, which broke box office records in both Los Angeles and on Broadway and earned Damian a Grammy nomination. Damian also keeps quite busy as a filmmaker having just wrapped principle photography on romantic comedy LOVE BY DESIGN, which he wrote and directed. He also served as writer/director on the romantic comedy THE SWEETER SIDE OF LIFE starring Kathryn Morris, “Cold Case” and James Best “The Dukes of Hazzard.” He was writer/director/producer on the holiday romantic comedy A PRINCESS FOR CHRISTMAS starring Roger Moore and Katie McGrath. The movie premiered Dec 3, 2011 and ranked as the #1 rated ad-supported cable movie of the WEEK. A PRINCESS FOR CHRISTMAS was released by Lion’s Gate on DVD October 2012. In the previous three years Damian co-wrote and directed three films for 20th Century Fox, FLICKA 2 starring Clint Black, MARLEY & ME: THE PUPPY YEARS and FLICKA: COUNTRY PRIDE. He directed, wrote and produced of the feature film MOONDANCE ALEXANDER, starring Don Johnson and Kay Panabaker. Prior to his recent work, Damian wrote, directed and produced the indie crime comedy HOT TAMALE and television pilot RED EYE for France’s network TF1.

Next up for Damian is the first installment on of the dance film franchise HIGH STRUNG where he will serve as writer/director/producer. @highstrungmovie

In addition, to his Broadway career, Damian has released five albums and has had eight Top 40 hits including the #1 single “Rock On”, which earned him gold records worldwide. He won the BMI Song-writing Award for his hit SINGLE WAS IT NOTHING AT ALL and also has written and produced tracks on FLICKA 2 & 3, MARLEY & ME:THE PUPPY YEARS and A PRINCESS FOR CHRISTMAS soundtracks.
