VINTAGE NYC MAGAZINE IS Excited to introduce you to some of the talent behind Vintage NYC Magazine!
Photographer Zaire Kacz was born and raised in Venezuela, where she earned her B.S. degree from Universidad del Zulia in 1998. In 2000, she was awarded a scholarship from Kodak and earned her Photography Diploma from Escuela Julio Bengoechea.
Moving to Miami, FL in 2003, she immersed herself in the fashion world. There her work met with success, gracing the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, Vanidades and numerous Norwegian fashion magazines. Through her contract with the production agency AG Creative, she photographed music celebrities like Ricky Martin and covered many events and performances
In 2010, she relocated to Asheville, NC and rediscovered her earlier passion, dance photography. Her recent series of collaborations with Terpsicorps, a contemporary dance company, has fueled a new aesthetic, inspired by the beauty and athleticism of the performers. The result is both ethereal and compelling in its simplicity and depth. Kacz’s dance imagery has been published in Dance Magazine, and in BalletMet Columbus’ 2014-2015 Season Brochures.
Zaire not only focuses on her fine art and dance photography, but also embraces her work creating magazine editorials, shooting events and capturing stunning head shots for executives, actors and musicians. Her meticulous approach and drive for perfection produces a unique product that is easily identifiable with its creativity, lighting and artistic layouts.
