FAY & RICHARD SALGADO'S WEDDING!
Vintage New York City Magazine would like to congratulate philanthropist and entrepreneur, Richard Salgado, on his recent marriage to former model, Fayrene Byrd! Richard Salgado is the CEO of Coastal Advisors LLC and founder of the Big Daddy Celebrity Golf Classic. The classic is a star studded charity event that raises money for North Shore-LIJ's Brain Aneurysm center, and as of last year, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Already accustomed to throwing beautiful and lavish events, planning a wedding was no large feat! When his beautiful bride, Fay, suggested walking down the aisle through a winter wonderland, such was delivered! Pre-wedding preparations were held at the grand Garden City Hotel, adorned in lush holiday decor. There were pictures, laughter and a stunning bride to help set the scene. The ceremony was an equally glamorous experience, set in an exclusive room with celebrity friends and Fay's two beautiful children, Kayla and Jagger. The famous Umberto Corteo and his restaurant hosted and pleased the palette for this elegant affair! Some of the guest list included Gary Melius of Oheka Castle, Joe Buck, Bill Hemmer and Anna Kooiman from the Fox network, as well as Super Bowl champions, Steve Weatherford, Marvin Washington and Sean Jones to name a few. The couple was married by Nassau County Executive, Ed Mangano, who delivered a beautiful ceremony. The night was filled with love and enchantment while guests danced under glints of blue and white lights. We wish the newly-weds many years of joy, love and excitement to come!
